This course will teach the basic belaying and lowering skills but the emphasis will be on Climbing Technique, how to move on real rock, maintaining balance, transferring weight and how to recognise a hand or foot hold. This is a course aimed at those who climb indoors on resin holds who want to develop their skills on real rock. Meet at Symond Yat Rock car park – on the English side of the river near Christchurch at 9.30 a.m. Bring change for the car park, lots of warm layers, sturdy shoes and plenty to eat and drink.
