The day after Bredon School broke up for the Easter holidays Tom and Josh were back at school – but this time it was the school of rock – climbing that is.Tom, in Year 13 is due to leave school in the summer and is heading for Bangor University. He has had very little experience climbing but is very focused and learnt the essential elements of sport climbing.
Josh, in Year 10 is an experienced climber, and has several trad leads under his belt. Josh seems very comfortable in any climbing environment. He is a thoughtful and determined climber who is already hooked. He even enjoyed practicing falling off. Both did well. Tom improved his footwoork immensley – leading tends to do that. And Josh learnt a few new tricks including how to get off a sport lead climb safely outdoors. His final comment was – will you take me multi-pitch climbing soon? The answer – of course – with pleasure. If you would like to learn to lead climb indoors or outdoors please contact Ali on 07814555378.
