Single Pitch Climbing |
Following routes at venues and route grades mutually arranged. The clients will learn belay, climbing, rope work and abseil techniques as well as how to remove placed gear and use double ropes in various environments, venue to suit. |
Multi Pitch Climbing |
Climbing 2 – 5 pitch routes at venues and route grades that have been mutually arranged. The clients will learn belay, climbing, rope work and abseil techniques as well as developing confidence and awareness of safety on stances in a variety of settings. Venue to suit e.g. The Wye Valley. The Peak Distric. North Wales. |
Sport Climbing

Following routes at venues and grades that have been mutually arranged. The clients will learn belay, climbing, rope work and abseil techniques, using prefixed bolts on mainly single pitch routes in limestone crags either natural or quarried, venue to suit e.g Tintern, Swanage, Portland. |
Leading using
|
Learning how to place appropriate traditional gear using features in the rock to keep the leader safe, the importance of body position, clipping gear using double ropes, setting up belays and belaying bringing up a second. Venue to suit eg Wye Valley, Peak District. |
Sport Climbing Lead Course |
A full day outside learning how to: safeguard the lead climber, lead belay, clip bolts using body position and strength, fall safely, belay the lead climber during a fall and how to thread the lower off. A final 2 hour indoor consolidation session completes the course. £95 per person, minimum of two people. £85 each for the indoor course including admission. |
Setting Up Bottom Ropes |
Learning improvised rescues, how to set-up bottom and top ropes in a safe and considerate manner on single pitch routes. |
SPA Refreshers |
Practising individual lead climbing up to severe standard, planning and executing sessions appropriate to clients abilities, executing set-ups and releasable abseils and ensuring safe technique at all times. |
ML Refreshers |
Navigation practise including micro and night nav, confidence rope work, emergency rope work, camp skills, the weather, appropriate clothing and equipment and access. |
New Fast Track Indoor Climbing Course based at The Warehouse, Gloucester. A three hour intensive, informative and fun course to learn all the techniques necessary to be a bottom rope climber and belayer. All equipment provided. £50 per person including wall entry and all equipment. Discounts apply to larger groups.
