Monsterclimbs Statement of risk:
Climbing is potentially dangerous and can result in injury or death. It’s your responsibility to choose what you are willing to do, and do it from your own motivation. This course is not intended to encourage you to take unacceptable risks, but to give you the tools to help understand risks. Only you can determine what risk is appropriate for you. If you decide to climb and take risks, we suggest taking small ones. Your goal should be to learn about yourself. Make conscious choices that make sense to you. Don’t blindly follow our suggestions or anyone else’s.
BMC participation statement:
Monsterclimbs recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
